When it comes to orthodontics, technology and processes are constantly being improved. That’s why at The Orthodontic Hub, we are academic-led and research-driven; attending conferences and industry events to ensure we stay up-to-date with the latest developments.

We use technology and innovation as a tool to assist our personalised patient care, rather than to replace it. This includes innovations such as the latest digital X-ray machines to ensure minimal radiation, less bulky braces to aid comfort, and 3D scanning and printing to eliminate uncomfortable mouth impressions. We have even reduced the time it takes to apply braces, through the use of new indirect bonding techniques.

3D Intra-Oral Scanning

We were the first practice in the Bay of Plenty to implement 3Shape intra oral scanning technology. No more messy moulds and quicker Invisalign and lab turn arounds!

3D Printing

No more old fashioned stone models. All of our patient orthodontic models are printed by a 3D printer. No more extra waiting for retainers or appliances to be made.
